12:30 Jim finally left after being here over 17 Hours. He worked the whole time on getting the technical internet/video work up and running. Had to have been a loooong day as the temp hit 101F and maybe higher. He's a trooper.
79F tonight. I just dipped into the water. Nice. Have a fan blowing...crickets chirping. Not too bad. Waiting for Janet Christiansen and Paul Danhaus to come in.
Janet was on Team Phoenix (2-women team) in 2007 and, because they finished the race,
qualified for Solo RAAM. Last year she had to DNF less than 300 miles till the end. Reviewed her diet and training and is back leading the Open Womens.
Danhaus is in the 60-69 age group and by his times between stations is riding a very steady race.
